Later
in the day, emperor addressed the issue to Birbal:
"I
am the most unfortunate man on earth that I shall see my kith and
kin pass away before my own eyes."
Birbal
wished to soothe his master's dismay. He kept himself silent for a
while. Soon a flash came to his mind:
"Jahapana,
I would like to read your dream in a different light", said
Birbal.
"Tell
me what is the flash in you," enquired the emperor.
Then
Birbal replied:
"Whatever,
science says it says in straightforward terms. But we have to take
its meaning softly. I would rather say that you would live a longer
and more fulfilled life than any one of your relatives."
Thereby,
Akbar was relieved of his tension.
Hats
off to Birbal, and his interpretation. He was able to make his
master come out from sorrow. Such a positive approach to things of
life will give us the best returns.
Akbar
likes this positive approach in looking at a negative issue and
rewarded him profusely.
